Berlin, May 19, 2025 – Germany‘s capital has gained its first true skyscraper - the Estrel Tower. This breathtaking landmark, soaring high at a full 176 meters, is joining the Estrel family as an iconic, stand-alone property, as well as a luxury extension to the Estrel Berlin‘s existing portfolio of impressive facilities and services. The Tower has its own dedicated catering, service, and logistics teams – who bring decades of expertise from the Estrel Berlin complex next door. It’s a remarkable new chapter for the Estrel, whose vast portfolio has grown to include five distinct brands: Estrel Hotel, Estrel Congress (Estrel Congress Center), Estrel Shows, Estrel Tower, and Estrel Art.

 

The expression of Estrel’s new strategic direction comes to life through confident design, a commitment to first-class service, and a striking brand refresh. This renowned local institution is now poised to become Berlin’s calling card for extraordinary experiences. For more than three decades, the Estrel Berlin – Europe’s largest hotel, entertainment, and convention complex – has been raising industry standards with unbeatable technology, services, and events. Now, the Estrel Tower, located next door to the original Estrel facility, is taking it all to the next level. A 300-meter-long walkway running beneath the main thoroughfare Sonnenallee will connect the Tower directly with the Estrel Hotel, Estrel Congress Center, and Estrel Show Theatre.

The Estrel’s new structural masterpiece isn’t just reshaping Berlin’s skyline – it’s also setting standards in architecture design, sustainability, and event culture. The Estrel Tower is home to a stunning range of facilities, located across its 45 floors: 522 bespoke rooms, suites, and serviced apartments, 3,800 m² of modern event spaces, fine dining and a Skybar with breathtaking cityviews. On the 41st and 42nd floors, five Board Meeting Rooms and four Sky Meeting Rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows with equally stunning views of Berlin, as well as top-of-the-line presentation technology. Two sweeping foyers and a high-rise lounge serve as the ideal backdrop for networking and intimate private dining. An additional 9,300 m² of innovative co-working spaces and offices starting at 450 m² provide ample room for great ideas to grow. The Atrium is a haven of natural light, home to inviting culinary options, an expertly curated art gallery, a 1,200 m² fitness and spa area with premium gym equipment; and right outside the Tower’s entrance – a public park and waterfront recreation area for guests and local visitors to enjoy.

The new Estrel Tower is striving for Platinum LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) – a globally renowned credential in climate-neutral construction. From the moment its foundations were laid, the Estrel Tower has been operating fully on green energy. The completed building will feature solar panels, a specially designed, energy saving facade, and a smart energy management system. In addition, it will be connected to Berlin’s climate-neutral district heating network.

 

Since 2023, the Estrel Berlin has been recognized by visitBerlin for its environmental commitment with high-performer status in both the “Sustainable Meetings Berlin” and “Sustainable Tourism Berlin” categories.
