This phase of the reimagination showcases a complete transformation of the Grand Suites, Superior Deluxe Bedrooms, and guest foyers, alongside a stunning renewal of ‘Le Grand Pey’—the hotel’s grand dining room—and a refined upgrade to the hotel’s Leisure Club.

A Seamless Blend of Nature and Luxury: Rooms Reimagined

Inspired by the serene beauty of Killarney National Park, the newly redesigned Grand Suites offer an elevated sense of luxury, with sweeping views from the parklands to the rugged McGillycuddy Reeks. The walls are adorned with exclusive landscape photography by renowned Kerry artist Norman McCloskey, subtly capturing the soul of Kerry and grounding each space in its surroundings.

The Grand Suites and Superior Deluxe Bedrooms are designed in a palette of warm golds, deep ambers, soft greens, and refined blues—tones that echo the tranquillity of Killarney. Rich wood finishes, classical lighting and mirrored accents lend a quiet elegance, while hand-finished Italian furnishings balance sophistication with comfort.

Every detail is considered for rest and relaxation, from ergonomically designed beds with premium bedding to fully reimagined bathrooms featuring handcrafted marble tiles, indulgent rain showers, and luxury amenities from Irish natural skincare brand, The Handmade Soap Company.

Wellness remains at the core of the Killarney Plaza experience, with its purpose-built spa drawing inspiration from the Killarney Lakelands. The extensive Leisure Club has also undergone an upgrade, ensuring enhanced fitness amenities.
