ISO CERTIFIED
BERNEXPO is very proud to have received ISO 20121 certification in 2023 and is one of the first venues in Switzerland to qualify. This standard defines the requirements for a sustainability management system for events and event-related activities and provides guidance on how to comply with these requirements.

HEALTH CARE VENUE
BERNEXPO has qualified as an event venue for clients from the health care sector. We conduct annual training courses on all aspects of the pharmaceutical and health care industry to remain familiar with the regulatory and legal framework conditions for events in this area and to anticipate what is needed for the planning and implementation of events.

Our staff are also certified and qualified in this area and are well versed in the regulations. We are proud of this recognition – and we are listed as an event location with the organisation Health Care Venues.

SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION
The Festhalle is being built with the utmost care and with a clear focus on sustainability. By applying the Minergie P standard, the new building complex is assuming a pioneering role in terms of energy efficiency in the world of exhibitions and events. The Festhalle will be operated without the use of fossil fuels and will be fitted with a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system.
