We’re excited to once again join the global events community at IMEX Frankfurt 2025. Building on the momentum from last year, when we marked 10 years of Rwanda’s participation at IMEX Frankfurt, Rwanda Convention Bureau, alongside 14 industry partners, looks forward to connecting with planners, buyers, and decision-makers from around the world to showcase Rwanda’s thriving business events landscape.
This year’s delegation includes key players in event management, hospitality, and venue operations, including Rwanda Events, Events Factory, Planitswiss, Cube Communication, Intare Conference Arena, Vava Tours, Kigali Top Event, Kigali Serena Hotel, Kigali Marriott Hotel, Kigali Convention Centre, Ikaze PCO, Business Events East Africa, Universal Events, and Events & Media Services.
In 2024, Rwanda hosted over 115 events across sports, health, technology, and innovation, generating $84.8 million in revenue and attracting more than 50,000 delegates. Notable events included the FIA Awards & General Assembly—the first of its kind in Africa—the Africa CEO Forum, the Africa Food Systems Forum 2024, the ICANN 80 Policy Forum, and the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria.
2025 has a dynamic calendar of events, including Global Citizen – Move Afrika, which took place in February, the Global AI Summit in April, and many more upcoming events such as the Basketball Africa League (Nile Conference), the UCI World Road Championship, the 13th IAS Conference on HIV Science, and Mobile World Congress Africa.
