Opened in September 2023, the Munich Marriott Hotel City West offers 398 rooms and suites in the vibrant Westend district, positioning Munich as a top MICE destination. First-Class Event Venue with a Grand Ballroom

The centrepiece of the event area is the 904m² ballroom — one of the largest in Munich. Features include natural daylight from large windows, external access, column-free design, and a modern hydraulic stage. With a capacity for 616 people and a ceiling height of 5.50 meters, it can be divided into three sections and features 240 individually adjustable lighting elements and a 12-meter screen.

The innovative hydraulic stage, measuring six by five and a half meters, allows for various performances, such as high-end 360° product presentations of cars, band performances, or panel discussions. The stage also enables quick room transformations, such as from theatre seating to a gala dinner setup, and connects directly to the hotel's large underground garage with 150 parking spaces and 10 electric car charging stations, facilitating event participants' arrival by car.

The ballroom, including the foyer and five additional conference rooms in the basement, offers maximum flexibility and individuality for any event, thanks to its high-quality and thoughtful design. There are also two spacious back-of-house areas and speaker rooms with seamless live transmission from the ballroom. A separate high-tech banquet kitchen, ideal for large events like gala dinners, completes the event level's concept. Flexible live-cooking modules can be integrated into various event spaces, allowing for food preparation in front of guests.

On the sixth floor is another highlight—a nearly 470-square-meter outdoor event location with panoramic views over Munich and the Bavarian Alps. This rooftop terrace, accommodating up to 300 guests, is versatile for exclusive events in summer and winter, pop-up concepts, or relaxed post-meeting drinks.

Studios with a Living Room Atmosphere

For intimate business meetings, smaller events, cozy networking evenings, and private dining, the hotel offers seven studios on the first floor. "These are all connected through our Studio Hub, a foyer with a living room style. Besides the modern, upscale, and relaxed ambiance, the studios feature detailed amenities. An open kitchen complements the living room atmosphere, offering possibilities for exclusive get-togethers or show-cooking. The equipment includes high-resolution TFT screens, projectors, top-notch audio systems, and built-in Poly Studio video conference cameras allowing various camera perspectives and zooming in on speakers. Each event area has a wall-mounted touch panel for easy and efficient control of lighting, background music, room temperature, curtains, and screens to meet individual needs. Digital flipcharts and signage with multiple placements provide maximum event customization.
