Mohamed Mezghani has worked for 35 years in an international and multidisciplinary context, with over 20 of those years spent working for associations. He has been Secretary General of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) since January 2018, and the President of the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) since June 2024.

Mohamed has led numerous membership services including knowledge activities for UITP members: professional training, research projects, thematic studies, technical advice, conferences, networking activities, and an information center.

He has led initiatives including advocacy, research, technical assistance, educational and professional events in more than 70 countries on all continents, engaging with international organizations, government officials, mobility professionals and academia.

Mohamed graduated in Industrial Engineering (1987) and has a Master in Transport (1988).
