Onur is the CEO of the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR), a leading non-profit medical association based in Switzerland with more than 5,000 members. With more than 22 years’ experience in association meeting planning, Onur has been an association executive for the past six years. He joined ESNR in 2017 as Director of Meetings and became CEO in 2020. Under his leadership, ESNR has experienced significant growth in both membership and revenue.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Onur spearheaded the introduction of new revenue streams, including hybrid meetings, webinar sponsorships and collaborations with other scientific societies, fostering joint events, speaker exchanges and diploma programs. His focus on ensuring education accessibility, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and advancing research has solidified ESNR’s position as a leader in the medical imaging field.
