An adventure and thrill seeker, his desire to explore new places and develop new products while working with the local community burns deep in his roots as he was literally born into the travel and service industry handled by 3 generations of his family. An enthusiast in almost every outdoor discipline, he is a culinary degree graduate from the Swiss Hotel Management School and has now been helming the family business for the past 20 years. Combined with a vast knowledge in tourism, 15 years ago his business expansion as a Destination Management Company (DMC) into the business events industry successfully organized and supported numerous international and national business events in Sarawak notably the 55th ICCA Congress and World Islamic Economic Forum to name a few.
Winning dozens of awards and accolades along the way, his company CPH Travel Agency has since been acknowledged as the Borneo Travel Pioneers celebrating its 50th Anniversary back in 2018. He is internationally a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) by the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) as one of the active business events partner in contributing to the development of business events in Malaysia.
As the current Chairman of the Malaysian Association of Tourism and Travel Agents (MATTA) Sarawak Chapter, he is responsible to promote the interest of the travel and tour industry in Malaysia while fostering close working industry relations between both the private and public sectors while creating awareness that benefits its members and the general public.
