With more than 20 years' experience in events and hospitality, Thomas Mauch has joined ICCA as Regional Director for Europe. Formerly with RAI Amsterdam, he brings expertise in commercial growth, strategic partnerships and member engagement.

In his new role, Thomas is dedicated to expanding membership, strengthening retention and promoting partnerships to deliver tailored solutions for ICCA’s European community. His appointment reinforces ICCA’s commitment to value-driven support and collaboration.

Recognized among the 50 Most Influential Venue Professionals (2023) and 50 Most Influential Event Professionals (2024), Thomas’s global mindset and multilingual skills promote inclusivity. He is an active mentor, contributing to the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum, Elevate and ECM programs, and shared his expertise as a guest lecturer and plenary speaker at ICCA Congress 2024.

A strong advocate for innovation, Thomas champions AI, AR and emerging technologies to enhance engagement and efficiency. As ICCA looks ahead, he is committed to driving industry impact, inclusivity and advancing innovation, strengthening Europe’s influence on the global stage.
