Kai Hattendorf is one of the most recognized thought leaders in the global business events industry. He is Managing Partner at jwc, a management consultancy specializing in the exhibition, trade show and conference industry.
During his decade as CEO of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, Kai led numerous initiatives to support the sector, raise public awareness and expand the association's reach and impact.
As Chair of the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC), a global council representing international industry associations, Kai championed advocacy initiatives including the Global Industry Manifesto, helping create a shared narrative for the events sector.
Working with industry associations and organizations including UNFCCC, OECD and ISO, Kai helped establish and continues to support initiatives including the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative.
Kai's contributions to the events industry have been recognized through numerous awards and accolades worldwide.
