With over 20 years of experience in International Event Production, Matt Régnier is an entrepreneur and producer recognized for his ability to connect talent, cultures, and ideas on a global scale.
Founder of Pleni The International, a production and consulting company dedicated to international events, he supports both non-French-speaking clients in France and international clients abroad.
In 2025, he launched Source Locally, the world’s first platform dedicated to identifying, booking, and paying local event freelancers, with the aim of reducing unnecessary flights, fostering community development, and supporting low-carbon events.
Matt is also the Founder of IC – International Consultants, a non-profit Association bringing together independent Production Directors across five continents.
His career began at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World Orlando, and has taken him from the Middle East to Europe, through major projects such as COP 18 Doha, the launch of the Dubai Tram, the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the Movin’On Summit in Brussels.
Building on this journey and collaborations with prestigious clients such as Nike, TikTok, Rolls‑Royce, and Publicis, Matt now champions a clear vision : reinventing the event industry through local sourcing, sustainability, and inclusion.
