CFO
IMEX Group
David Harrison is Chief Financial Officer at IMEX Group, where he leads business planning and analysis, financial control, governance, risk management, contracting, procurement, sustainability strategy and ESG. A chartered accountant with degrees in accountancy, finance and business economics, David brings experience in strategy, transformation and growth from previous roles at GlaxoSmithKline, Transport for London and London Business School.
His work focuses on strengthening business performance by investing in people, improving processes and supporting positive organisational change. David is also committed to advancing IMEX Group’s sustainability strategy, helping to ensure long-term, responsible growth.
David won the inaugural Sussex CFO of the Year Award in 2022 and is a strong advocate for the meetings and events industry. He supports the industry serving as Treasurer and board member at UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry. Beyond IMEX, David runs, swims and plays drums, and volunteers as a mentor and treasurer for a local music charity.
