May Gerard joined Rosewood Baha Mar in May 2022 as the Director of Group Sales, operating remotely from Washington, DC. With an impressive twenty-five years of experience in the hospitality industry, May's career began in Food and Beverage before transitioning to Catering Sales and Event Services at the prestigious Fairmont Toronto in Canada. Seeking to expand her horizons, she briefly left the industry to work as an Event Planner for a key client. However, her passion for hospitality drew her back to hotels, where she excelled at two Forbes Five-Star Hotels in Washington, DC, including a notable hotel opening.

In her spare time, May cherishes moments with her family, which includes her husband Tim, their two daughters, Hannah and Gabriella, and their lovable Great Dane/Labrador, Mocha.
