The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, a 4* Star Dublin city centre property, has recently undergone a €100 million investment which includes the construction of Dublin’s newest convention centre; The Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
In 2019, the hotel underwent a significant refurbishment programme, including a brand new eight-storey extension featuring an additional 84 spacious new bedrooms. The refurbishment encompassed the entire ground floor, including the lobby area and both the restaurant and bar. The Chancery Grill restaurant and the Dyflin Bar seen a lavish refit. Velvære Spa which opened in 2020, comprises of three floors offering six treatment rooms and a dedicated medi area. The spa has a relaxation area and thermal suite consisting of; a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and experiential showers. A new on-site gym facility is also available on a complimentary basis to guests 24/7.
In 2021, the hotel introduced The Castle Suite. A brand-new presidential suite offering unparalleled views of the Dublin city skyline, featuring an open air entertaining terrace and ample space indoors with two bedrooms, a separate living and dining area, guest bathroom plus two en-suites. Spanning 180m2 in total, this luxurious suite of rooms is a stylish and glamourous space for get-togethers with friends and family, romantic city breaks and a unique venue for small events and cocktail parties. Interior lovers will delight at the sleek and elegant design and luxurious marble bathrooms with bespoke Codage amenities, while the real star of the show is the outdoor terrace and reception area which offers wraparound skyline views unlike anything else the city has to offer reflecting the hotel’s location in the heart of the capital. This exclusive space sleeps up to four people and bespoke experiences can be created upon request.
Recently refurbished, all meeting rooms have natural daylight, air conditioning, built-in screens, projectors, stationary kit and PA system. Catering for conferences from 1 to 400 delegates in any one of the boardrooms, flexible meeting rooms or dedicated video conferencing rooms. Our largest meeting space caters for up to 300 guests seated gala dinner, and 400 delegates theatre style. Other venues include a rooftop terrace ideal for BBQ's of up to 150 guests and the Sky Suite on the 7th floor for 50 guests.
Our state-of-the-art convention centre, The Dublin Royal Convention Centre officially opened its doors in January 2023 and can accommodate up to 1000 delegates theatre style or 660 guests banqueting style. The Dublin Royal Convention Centre is home to some of latest technology features, stunning breakout /pre-function spaces and is connected to an outdoor civic historical square, Le Pole Square.
Le Pole Square is also now home to Old Town Café, which serves the finest locally roasted coffee alongside daily homemade breakfast items, lunch and sweet treats. Plus newly launched speciality Old Town Wine Bar serving up family style small plates and the best of European wines.
