Exciting Expansion at Hotel Reykjavík Grand - Opening 2028

Hotel Reykjavík Grand is delighted to announce an ambitious expansion project designed to enhance our capabilities and better support our partners in the travel industry. Key highlights include:

Increased capability: A new nine-story tower will add 134 additional guest rooms, bringing our total count to 448. This expansion will significantly boost our capacity, enabling us to accommodate larger groups and increasing our versatility for travelers.

Enhanced Conference Facilities: Conference spaces will expand from 1,350 sqm to an impressive 2,290 sqm. The maximum seating capacity will rise from 1,041 to approximately 2,660, making Hotel Reykjavík Grand an ideal venue for larger conventions and events.

Superior Guest Experience: Guests will enjoy a range of upgraded amenities, including a luxurious spa, expanded dining options with new restaurants and bars, and enhanced parking facilities featuring both above-ground spaces and a convenient parking garage.
