Meet In Wales is part of Welsh Government’s Event Wales team, promoting Wales as a destination for meetings, incentives, team building, events and conferences. We provide free and impartial advice on a range of products and venues.

International Convention Centre Wales is the UK’s newest and most exciting events venue.
World-class facilities include a 4,000 sq m pillar-free exhibition hall, a 1,500-seat auditorium, versatile meeting rooms and an abundance of breakout and networking spaces, flooded in natural daylight.
Built in an £84m joint venture project with Welsh Government, the venue is highly accessible just a stone’s throw from Junction 24 of the M4, yet it is situated in ancient woodland with floor to ceiling meeting room windows and outdoor breathing space making the most of the stunning environment.

The Celtic Manor Resort is a flagship tourism venue for Wales and a unique leisure and business hotel property in the UK marketplace thanks to the scale and diversity of its facilities and services.
The expanding Celtic Collection includes the 330-room, five-star Resort Hotel, the historic 19th century Manor House with 70 rooms, the 148-room Coldra Court, the Newbridge on Usk country inn with six rooms, Tŷ Hotel Magor with 129 bedrooms and 10 luxurious Hunter Lodges.
The 170-bedroom Parkgate Hotel was opened in Cardiff in 2021 in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union, and was awarded AA Hotel of the Year for Wales 2024-25. Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront opened in 2022 in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven and the Collection also partners with the Port to manage the St Brides Spa Hotel in Pembrokeshire. A third Tŷ Hotel Newport opened in June 2024.
Consistently voted the UK’s best conference hotel with a convention centre for up to 1,500 delegates, the Celtic Manor has staged conferences and events for most of the UK's leading blue chip companies. The hotel convention centre has total floor space of 6,000 sqm and its largest room, the Caernarfon Suite can hold 1,500 delegates for a lecture or 900 guests for a gala dinner. The Exhibition Hall offers 1,200 sqm of floor space, ideal for product launches, trade shows and receptions as well as exhibitions.
The Celtic Collection has worked closely with Visit Wales and Welsh Government to stage major global events at the 2010 Ryder Cup and the 2014 NATO Summit. It has also exhibited for many years as a key partner and supporter of Visit Wales at all the major international conventions and expos for the meetings industry, reflecting Wales brand values, leading the way as a Welsh venue for international meetings, and promoting the entire country as a destination for business events.
The Celtic Collection has long recognised the need to promote other venues and attractions in Wales and seeks to promote Wales throughout the venue, using a Welsh sense of place to showcase the wider destination to visitors.
The Celtic Collection and its managers are members of all the key events industry bodes including UK Inbound, the Meetings Industry Association and the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers.
Celtic Collection managers and sales executives are highly experienced in attending exhibitions and events, frequently in partnership with Welsh Government. The team take a very proactive approach to securing return on investment for the cost and commitment of attending.
As many appointments as possible are secured before arriving at the venue, often achieving a full diary of appointments in advance of the show. Our experienced managers coach any new attendees in how to make the most of these meetings and other trade show opportunities, ensuring product knowledge of both our venues and the offering available throughout Wales.
