Tuya Beyers has more than 20 years’ experience in the business events industry. She strongly believes in the positive power of conferences and supports stakeholders to develop purposeful business models.

As Association Expert at Flanders Convention Bureau, Tuya is committed to creating meaningful impact through conferences in Flanders. She co-developed the Impact Methodology and initiated an online learning platform to support local experts and international associations on their journey toward more impactful business events.

As an active member of the International Alliance on Impact, she connects with destinations worldwide to exchange knowledge and best practices on designing impactful conferences. Together with business events stakeholders in Flanders, she is currently shaping a roadmap and action plan to drive the sustainable transformation of our industry.

Her goal is to instill the impact reflex—a mindset where associations, convention bureaus, PCOs and local experts naturally integrate positive change into their strategy.

Tuya also embraces this philosophy in her personal life by practicing yoga, discovering great food and seeking new adventures wherever she goes.
