Sarah Beistel is a certified project management professional and is currently a project manager on Amazon's Seller Events Team. She oversees sustainability initiatives, volunteer and temp staffing, on-site venue operations and site visits, and facilitates internal stakeholder engagement. Sarah has more than 14 years’ experience in conference planning, educational programming and event management across various sectors including associations, government contractors and private industry. She joined Amazon from the American Health Care Association (AHCA), where she led the development of educational programming and training for five major conferences a year. This included managing conference logistics, budgeting, speaker recruitment, vendor relationships, marketing and on-site execution for all activities related to both in-person and virtual conferences. In 2024, she obtained her Sustainable Events Professional certification from the Events Industry Council. She loves reading, musical theater and Thai food and is a big Pittsburgh sports fan.
