Global Destination Sustainability Movement
Bella, a seasoned destination management professional based in Barcelona, has been instrumental in advancing global regenerative tourism and events for more than three years. As a client relationship manager for 20-plus destinations in the EMEA region participating in the GDS-Index sustainability performance improvement program, Bella offers tailored support for benchmarking assessments and year-round consulting on sustainability initiatives. She holds a master’s degree in Destination Management and a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the GSTC. In recognition of her contributions and expertise, Bella was appointed as an Advisory Member of the BestCities Global Alliance in 2023, where she collaborates with other industry leaders to drive positive change and create a more sustainable future for global tourism.
