Eng. Said Al Shanfari is the CEO of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), the Sultanate's premier events venue. A recognized expert in the business events industry, he also serves as Chairman of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) for the Middle East and Africa Chapter, advocating for the region on a global stage. His leadership at OCEC and broader industry contributions earned him a place on Forbes Middle East's list Top 100 Travel and Tourism Leaders in 2024.

With more than a decade in senior management roles, Al Shanfari began his career in telecommunications, leading major marketing projects for Omantel and Oreedoo. In 2017, he completed Oman's National CEO Program, designed to develop the next generation of Omani leaders for global competitiveness.

Said holds an MBA from the University of Hull and dual bachelor's degrees from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He has completed executive programs at London Business School and IMD, and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.

Said is passionate about sports and wellness and has opened his own gym in 2025, APEX Fitness.
