Carmen is Contracts Manager in the Global Meetings & Events team at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Madrid. She leads the supplier contracting team, overseeing event-level and global agreements with BCG’s partners, and serves as category lead for production companies and creative agencies.
She began her career in hotel operations and event management, holding various event operational roles including Conference Director at Hotel Arts Barcelona. She later moved into sales leadership positions, such as Director of Sales at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama and Cluster Director of Sales for The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin and Berlin Marriott Hotel.
Her 20-year career spans major hospitality brands including Kempinski, The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott International. Before joining BCG in 2019, she managed large-scale events and led teams across Spain, Germany and Portugal.
She studied hotel management in Dresden, Germany, and holds a master’s degree in hotel marketing and revenue management from Cornell University.
Originally from southern Germany, she has lived abroad since 2006. Outside work, she enjoys singing in a local choir, traveling, and spending time with her cat and friends.
