Catherine Chaulet is the President and CEO of Global DMC Partners (GDP), the largest global network of independently owned destination management companies, representing more than 100 DMCs in 500-plus destinations worldwide.
Born and educated in France and now living in the United States, Catherine’s early career included executive roles in international trade and finance, giving her a strong foundation in cross-cultural business and global operations.
In 2013, she launched GDP, a performance-driven, centralized network known for its strategic partnerships, innovation and global reach.
Catherine’s career has helped shape how the global meetings industry sources, delivers and values services by destination management companies. She has redefined the role of DMCs from local vendors to essential strategic partners.
Catherine’s influence is ongoing through initiatives such as the GDP’s MICE Industry Pulse Surveys and GDP University. Catherine has been honored in Smart Women in Meetings and BizBash’s Top 1,000 People in Events, and under her leadership, GDP has won numerous awards including the Skift IDEA Award, CWT Supplier of the Year, Smart Meetings Smart Stars and many others.
In addition, Catherine has been recognized by the French government as a Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite.
