The Federation of the Romanian Hotel Industry (FIHR) is the first association established in Romanian tourism, in April 1990, and represents an employers' organization that aims to represent the interests of hoteliers in Romania.
Throughout its over 30 years of activity, FIHR has been a constant supporter of the industry, playing an active role in the dialogue with central and local public authorities, being a member of the Tourism Advisory Council, the Tourism Alliance and the Concordia Confederation.The Romanian Hotel Industry Federation (FIHR) is representative in terms of the cumulative turnover of its members, bringing together 4 of the top 5 hotel companies in Romania, being present at national level in over 48 localities in 28 counties and cumulating over 18,300 rooms in member hotel properties.
At the same time, FIHR includes 4 hotel employers' organizations (Patronatul Marea Mamaia - Constanța, OPH Poiana Brașov, Horeca Cluj and OPH Brașov), in addition to the 240 hotel members, which include both hotels with international brands, Romanian hotel groups, as well as independent hotels and guesthouses.

Das Projekt "Urlaub in Rumänien" ist die größte deutschsprachige Informationsplattform über touristische Reiseziele, Informationen zum Land und deren Gastgeber, sowie Angeboten zum Reiseland Rumänien.
Im Jahr 2024 wurden mit rund 5.000 Beiträgen über Social Media und unsere Online-Präsenzen über 100.000.0000 (100 Millionen, davon ca. 2,5 Millionen Unique Users, Hochrechnung gem. aktuellen Zahlen) Personen erreicht. Neben Deutsch werden alle Informationen auch in vielen weiteren Sprachen wie Englisch, Rumänisch und je nach Portal in bis zu sieben weiteren Sprachen angeboten.

The natural beauties of our county are complemented by the traditional Moldavian gastronomy cuisine, and, among the delicacies made according to local specific recipes, we can count dishes such as smoked trout wrapped in fir tree bark, “zacusca“ (vegetable stew), pâté, trout sausages and “sarmale” (minced meat wrapped in cabbage or vine leaves), or jelly with chicken or pork, Oituz cheese, Palanca cheese, cheese "hidden" in pine bark, walnut brioche ("cozonac"), "alivenci" (cream cheese custard pies), as well as the traditional "poale-n brâu" pies. And, to get to know them better, we provide you with this tool, through which we want to contribute to the promotion of distinctive elements of the tourist potential specific to Bacau County, namely leisure tourism, spa tourism, cultural tourism, ecumenical tourism and event tourism, in order to create a set of touristic integrated products that will become more and more attractive at national and international level.
