Prof. Dr Mandy Risch-Kerst, lawyer and specialist lawyer for intellectual property law and specialist lawyer for information technology law (IT law). Founder of EVENTLawyers, a law firm cooperation for IT, IP and commercial law, -she has focused exclusively on providing legal advice to the event, security and creative industries based in Berlin for more than 20 years. As a cooperation lawyer for various professional associations, she accompanies well-known event organizers, companies, agencies, authorities, artists and public event venues through analogue and digital event organization. She teaches as an honorary professor in business and IT law at the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.
Since 2020, she has been Managing Director of the interdisciplinary GAIUS Institute and, as a specialist in AI law, conducts research with a nationwide team of scientists in the field of digital future technology and innovative corporate management. As author and co-editor of various standard works, she is an expert in legal issues relating to event law, event and IT-compliance, AI competence, data security and brand management.

Professional female networks play a crucial role in women's career advancement. With a shift to right-wing governments, there is a danger that women's rights could be limited (in the US leading corporations are abolishing their Gender Diversity and Inclusion departments).
