Sybil Franke has been MD of Velomax Berlin since 2017, running two arenas, Velodrom and Max-Schmeling-Halle in the German capital. Sybil graduated from university in Berlin in 1999 and has since then worked in the leisure business and live entertainment industry. She worked for a promoter first and then moved to the venue side in 2007. Since then, she has been renewing the two arenas and has taken them to a new level of recognition in the Berlin market. Sybil was also one of the first to focus on sustainable demands in venue operations in huge multi-functional arenas in Germany. She is active in many networks and bodies to preserve Berlin’s cultural landscape, and stands for fair business and market development.
