Degmo Daar is a social entrepreneur, strategist and thought leader in inclusive business innovation and systems change. She is the founder of NoorD Consulting, Co-Founder of SomaRecycle and Director of Emmstechnology NGO, where she focuses on redefining success in business through equity-driven solutions, sustainability and social impact.
With a background in design thinking, process development and ethical innovation, Degmo has worked across industries to build more inclusive, sustainable and future-ready business strategies. She has led initiatives that challenge traditional hiring systems, promote ethical business practices, and support underrepresented voices in technology and sustainability.
Degmo was a finalist for the DEIB Champion of the Year at the Nordic Women in Tech Awards 2024 and was recognized among the 99 Top Women in Tech for her work in DEI. She has spoken at global forums on responsible innovation, ethical leadership and the intersection of DEI, business and sustainability.
Outside work, she is passionate about culture and storytelling, and actively preserves and celebrates cultural heritage through knowledge-sharing and community initiatives.
