Her career spans Asia and Europe, giving her a deep understanding of diverse workplace cultures and the challenges of fostering inclusive leadership globally. Passionate about creating equitable workplaces, Claire leads initiatives to remove barriers to career progression and empower individuals to thrive.
Based in Sussex, UK, Claire lives with her wife and daughter. An avid rock climber, she spends her spare time scaling cliffs and volunteering with a local group that introduces women to climbing to support well-being.

The exhibitions and events sector faces significant challenges in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and in promoting female leadership. Protectionist policies and restrictive immigration laws can hinder DEI, while demographic shifts can add further strain. And the rise of the gig economy, though offering flexibility, often leaves women in precarious roles with limited career progression opportunities. Initial industry research by Women in Exhibitions (WiE), in partnership with Clarasys, highlights systemic barriers to women’s career advancement.
