Leipzig has a young and diverse scene. One of the most interesting locations for exhibiting contemporary art and culture ist the building of the old cotton spinning mill. Formerly the largest cotton spinning mill in continental Europe, it now houses numerous art studios, which host exhibitions and galleries of various national and international artists.
