Section Head - Meetings & Incentives
ABU DHABI CONVENTIONS & EXHIBITION BUREAU
As the Section Head of Meetings, Incentives and Weddings at Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau, a subdivision of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Moammar is responsible for growing the business tourism sector by strengthening the meetings and incentives segment in 11 overseas offices, leading major projects, establishing new overseas offices in key source markets and amplifying commercial activities messaging through local and international media.
Moammar joined the former Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority in 2015, and in 2017 joined the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau. Previously Moammar worked for six years in the private sector where he accumulated diverse experiences.
Moammar is a graduate of the National Experts Program (NEP), a program developed under the direction of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
