Bettina and the Copenhagen CVB congress team work closely with both associations, academia, organizations, companies and government in welcoming congresses to the capital region and securing long term, positive impacts from these meetings. Bettina has been the initiator and co-creator of Copenhagen Legacy Lab, which received the GDS Innovation Award 2021, the IMEX-EIC Innovation in Sustainability Award 2022 and the GDS Impact Award 2024.
Strongly focused on close partnerships with, and within, the industry, she is actively involved in organizations such as ICCA, BestCities, the ICEBERG, CityDNA and ESAE and is a frequent speaker at various international events.
Bettina received the ICCA Inspirational Woman Award in 2018 and was named ECM Community Hero in 2020.
