Mark Maydon is Commercial Director and co‑founder of Crowd Connected, a UK‑based technology company.
Crowd Connected’s solutions include indoor positioning, wayfinding, people and asset tracking and occupancy counting, all delivered on a single platform. Its technology is used across business and consumer events, education and healthcare in over 30 countries. Marquee customers include AEG, Informa, Google, Live Nation and NVIDIA.
The company was named in the 2025 UK Fast Growth Index for accelerated growth in indoor positioning, smart buildings and RTLS technology.
Mark oversees the company’s commercial relationships, including key accounts, partnerships and customer success. Much of his work focuses on supporting event organizers by helping attendees find their way while providing insights into how space and programming are used.
Before co‑founding Crowd Connected, Mark held leadership roles at Sporting Index and News International. He began his career in sports media.
Outside work, Mark’s twin teenage daughters keep him in check.
